Timothy Enneking, Chairman and Founder

 

In 2013, managed both the all-time best performing fund in history (5,556.39%) and the all-time best performing fund of funds in history (392%).

 

Mr. Enneking has been active in the fund management business for almost 20 years and has been directly managing funds for over 15. In 2013, he managed both the all-time best performing fund in history (the Bitcoin Fund: 5,556.39%) and the all-time best performing fund of funds in history (Tera Capital Fund: 392%). Prior to creating the Crypto Currency Fund, he managed Tera, which was ranked as the best fund in its category in the world three times in eight years and ranked in the top 10 funds five of those years. Before that, he was a director of two diversified private equity (PE) funds, one founded in 1996, and the second created in 2005 by splitting the original fund into two funds, with approx. $50 million under management.

 

As Vice President for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) of a major European company, Mr. Enneking has conducted analyses of approximately 1,000 companies located throughout Europe and was the principal on transactions totaling over $8 billion over the past 12 years.

 

Mr. Enneking holds an undergraduate and three graduate degrees in international business (MBA) and law (JD), including one post-doctoral degree (LLM). He also holds another graduate degree in International Security Studies. He has taught in English, French and Russian in various undergraduate and graduate business schools in the US, France and Russia. He is also a professional coach and trainer and has worked with some of the largest corporations in the world (Coca-Cola, Société Générale, Whirlpool, BASF, Caterpillar, Citibank, Metro, accenture and CH2MHill).

Todd B. Enneking, Chief Security Officer

 

Todd has over 30 years experience in software development, information and physical security best practices and executive management. As CIO of a half-billion dollar global manufacturing firm, he led the development and deployment of a worldwide network for business process integration with the highest levels of security to ensure no loss of strategic intellectual property.

 

In multiple rolls with a firm that develops b2b security software,

he led the engineering team for their flagship software product. This software provides the highest levels of encryption, authentication, authorization and non-repudiation and is used to ensure customer and government security in many US DoD installations and by the world’s largest missile manufacturer and largest ERP company to power their mission-critical cloud operations. Todd has also been instrumental in the design and development of various physical intrusion detection products, emergency notification systems and global network installations.

 

He graduated with a computer science and mathematics degree from Illinois State University. In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, volunteering for various environmental and social service NGOs, traveling, running, bicycling, playing guitar and dancing.

 

Clayton R. Ayers, Head Trader

 

Clayton is based in Houston, Texas. He manages CCF's global team of traders and oversee's risk management and macro strategy formulation of the fund’s actively traded assets. Because of his passion for analytical sciences and finance, he pursued and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.

 

He has several years of experience as a geoscientist in the upstream oil and gas industry, as well as extensive knowledge and a background in derivatives valuation and trading.

In his free time Mr. Ayers enjoys traveling, science fiction films, exercising, watching Ohio State football games with his father, and studying French.

Mr. Simon F. O. Lazare, European Trader

 

Mr. Lazare is based in Moscow and is CCF’s price action specialist. Born in Brunei, Mr. Lazare has lived in three continents and is fluent in French, English and Dutch. He holds a degree in International Business Administration (BSc) from the Rotterdam School of Management.

 

Mr. Lazare co-founded a Houston-based startup, Aerigo Water Technologies where he focused on strategy and fund-raising. Prior to that, he worked at ING Investment Management in the Hague as a financial instruments pricing specialist where he gained his in-depth understanding of the financial markets and honed his financial analysis skills.

During his free time, Mr. Lazare enjoys surfing, reading, and traveling.

Zeo Niu, Head of China Research

 

Zeo is responsible for identifying information which could influence bitcoin prices and/or pricing trends and for summarizing it in English and providing it to CCF well ahead of English-language media. She is based in Beijing and additionally works as a journalist, translator and freelance author. She has worked for CNBC and AFP and currently also works for the Danish newspaper Politiken. Zeo also has translated and published two books into Chinese: 13 Clocks and Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge Music.

 

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Harbin Normal University.

 

In her free time, Zeo enjoys reading, movies, rock music and playing the violin.

 

John (Jack) D. Zwick, Head of Mining & Special Projects

 

Jack is CCF’s altcoin expert.

 

Prior to joining the Crypto Currency Fund, Jack worked for a number of Bitcoin companies and was present for the formative meetings of the Bitcoin Foundation, of which he is a lifetime member.  Jack was a speaker at the first global Bitcoin Conference "Bitcoin 2013: The Future of Payments" in San Jose, California in the spring of 2013.  In 2012 Jack worked in Seattle as the seventh employee at the first Bitcoin company to officially receive venture capital funding.

 

Jack's primary focus has been on the efficient production of cryptographic currency using ASICs. Jack worked in operations and finance at CoinTerra to deliver some of the world's first commercially available 28-nanometer SHA-256 ASICs in the form of the TerraMiner IV GoldStrike chip. Before working for CoinTerra, Jack ran Soule Investments, a company whose sole investment was bitcoins, beginning at single digit prices with its largest investment in December 2012.

 

Jack graduated Cum Laude from Phillips Exeter Academy in 2010 and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Chicago.
